About Us

Quixada Moore-Vissing, PhD, obtained her Doctorate in Education from the University of New Hampshire. She has a specialty in civic engagement. She has a Master’s Degree in Communication from the University of Illinois and another Master’s Degree in Education from the University of New Hampshire. Her Bachelor’s Degree is from Boston University’s prestigious University Professors Program. She also attended Phillips Exeter Academy. She is a Fellow for the Center for Childhood & Youth Studies at Salem State University.

Dr. Moore-Vissing has worked as a consultant with a variety of national civic engagement, deliberative dialogue, and democracy building organizations, as well as with communities, higher education, and in K-12 schools.
